AMAZING LAUNDRY. I don't normally write reviews, but I am so impressed with this laundry that I felt that I had to tell someone. I have used many named laundry services from the high street and the in-store drop off ones and I have found them all to be expensive and not particularly good. (For specialist items, they are usually hopeless). So I wasn't expecting too much when I started using Country Textile Services (CTS). They are not in the high street, they are in an industrial unit in Witney, which means that you can park and they have much more space for running their business. I delivered a fairy large load of shirts, trousers, sheets and a couple of jackets, and nervously waited to see what the result would be the following week. I was amazed. Everything had been cleaned beautifully (special attention had been given to stains), everything was wrapped up or on hangers and in covers. And it was literally half the price of the high street shops. I carried the three loads to my car and only was charged a 2 digit sum. (Honestly in Johnson's this would have been a £150 bill). I have now been with CTS for a few months and each week it seems to get better. This week, they rang me up to discuss a particular stain on a blouse for my wife, as they didn't want to damage the blouse by being overly drastic with the stain. But as usual, the result was perfect, the blouse looked as if it was new and the stain was completely gone (and the price was unbelievably low). I know this review must seem like over-enthusiastic hysteria, but in the current climate, where everything seems so expensive and workmanship seems to have fallen to an all time low, it is such a genuine pleasure for me to go once a week to collect my laundry and to know that it will be professionally cleaned with extra care, packaged and handed over with a smile...all for roughly half of what it would cost in the high street. Thank God there are still some businesses who want to deliver excellence at a fair price. I cannot recommend CTS highly enough.
